Aitken's Saddlery is proud of the products and services that we offer. We understand that there could be times you may want to return items you have purchase. The following outlines our policies for returning products purchased online or in store from Aitken's Saddlery for refund, exchange, or store credit.

Refunds


We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind or are unable to provide proof of purchase. But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem (fault). This is when the item:

  • has a problem/fault that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it.
  • is unsafe.
  • is significantly different from the sample or description.
  • doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem (fault) is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement. Please keep your proof of purchase—e.g. your receipt.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you that we have received your returned item and provide an estimated time frame for the assessment of your requested refund. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund once this has been ascertained. If the return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied onto the purchaser's original credit card, Afterpay account, Rider Rewards voucher etc. Refunds may take between 5 - 10 business days for funds to be available in the associated account. However if your request for refund is rejected you may be given alternative options such as store credit or exchange (if applicable); if you choose not to accept these then you will be responsible for any costs associated with the return of the product/s to you.


Return for store credit or exchange

 
  • Items can be returned within 14 days of receipt of your order.
  • If a refund is required, this can only be paid to you by the method in which you originally paid.
  • The items must be in original condition with all labels attached.
  • Affix postage to your return, no postage is refunded unless the product is faulty or incorrectly supplied – not if you make an incorrect choice, or fail to verify and accurately provide information when placing an order.
  • Ensure your form submission below provides all the requested information to ensure speedy review.
  • All exchanges will be charged at our usual postage rate when returned to you. Under no circumstances will we accept goods returned on a COD basis, they will be returned to you.
