Rules for Young Horse (as at March 2024) 5- 8 years old Horse
- A maximum interior length of 16cm
- The width of the fastener must be at least 5cm
- A rounded protective element on the inside only
- Only Non-elastic Velcro type fasteners are permitted
- Hind boots with additional pastern protection are allowed providing the protection is made of soft pliable material
- The inside of the boot must be even and have no pressure points
