The Pinto Foal Standing Palomino is a part of the Collecta Range of horse toys which are made from the handmade sculptures of Deborah McDermont.Deborah is a sculptor living in Southern California. As a sculptor she observes the anatomy movement and expressions of the horses as well as their unique qualities that make each horse individual.

A pinto horse is genetically created when an allele for a spotting pattern is present. The genes that create the underlying base coat color are not related to the genes that create white spotting.
