The Black Fresian Stallion is a part of the Collecta Range of horse toys which are made from the handmade sculptures of Deborah McDermont. Deborah is a sculptor living in Southern California. As a sculptor she observes the anatomy movement and expressions of the horses as well as their unique qualities that make each horse individual.

The breed is known for a brisk, high-stepping trot. The Friesian's temperament is considered active, and energetic, but also gentle and docile.
